The increasing use of sulfur hexafluoride in high-voltage electrical appliances will have more and more impact on the environment. Under the international environment, other industries using sulfur hexafluoride have made fruitful work in reducing sulfur hexafluoride emissions.

　　For sulfur hexafluoride, more research should be done on the decomposition method, device and the application of the results of the substitute, while the recycling of sulfur hexafluoride should be kept track of to prevent its discharge into the atmosphere. In the short term, simple and effective sulfur hexafluoride emission reduction methods are as follows: try to abandon GIS, even H-GIS application; Minimize the use of sulfur hexafluoride stand-alone equipment; And encourage the complete elimination of sulfur hexafluoride use in medium-pressure equipment.
