  1)How do sensors connect to my system?


  Depending on the characteristics of your system, you can choose to use both analog and digital quantities (or both). In the case of using only analog quantity, only three pins of the sensor are needed: positive power supply, negative power supply and analog output;In the case of using only digital quantities, only four pins of the sensor are needed: power positive, power negative, digital transmit, and digital receive.The length and thickness of the analog quantity between the sensor and the external connection line may produce pressure drop, resulting in certain output errors. At the same time, the analog quantity of the sensor is limited by the DAC conversion precision, which will also bring some errors. Therefore, it is recommended that customers use the digital quantity.


  2)I have different products, require the analog signal range is not the same, how to do?


  The sensor analog output can be set in the range of 0-2.5V (save parameters), such as the output range 0.4-2.0V, 0V-2.5V, and can be configured with analog output offset, local pressure drop or other fixed impact of the error, can be compensated by analog output offset, comprehensive function, use is very simple. If the user output is larger than 2.5V, a simple amplifier circuit can be added to the peripheral circuit.


  3)Is the probability of digital communication data error large?


  Sensor communication protocol includes checksum keyword recognition, communication error probability is almost 0, for batch customers, our company can provide design reference or software interface function, to ensure the stability and reliability of digital communication.


  4)How long is the appropriate sensor calibration period?


  The long-term drift of the infrared sensor developed by our company is very small, and we need to do long-term stability test before leaving the factory. Generally, it can be calibrated once every 6 months or even longer. For harsh environment applications, it is recommended to shorten the calibration period appropriately.


  5)Is there anything special about calibration?


  Infrared sensor calibration is similar to catalytic sensor, there is no special requirement. In order to maximize the characteristics of the infrared sensor and obtain better accuracy and stability, the following points should be paid attention to:1. Before zero calibration and calibration of the sensor, the sensor should be powered on for more than 1 hour;2. Try to avoid zero calibration or calibration of the sensor alone. Zero calibration and calibration should be done at the same time, and zero calibration should be carried out first before calibration;3. zero calibration or calibration of the gas input time should be greater than 3 minutes, the sensor reading is stable before operation; 4. Sharp changes in gas flow rate should be avoided during calibration so as not to affect calibration accuracy.


  6)How is the sensor power consumption? Does the operating current fluctuate greatly?


  When the sensor is powered by 3.3V, the typical working current is 75mA and the power consumption is about 0.25W. Because the sensor adopts constant power technology, the current almost does not fluctuate and there is no current impact phenomenon in the working process.


  7)Sensor operating temperature range and operating humidity range?


  The sensor is equipped with temperature compensation and temperature compensation. The measurement accuracy can be guaranteed within the range of working temperature and humidity described in the technical parameters (no condensation is generated in the environment).


  8)Are sensor pins soldable?


  Sensor pins are strictly prohibited from welding or cutting operations, which may cause poor contact or fall off of the internal pins of the sensor, resulting in sensor failure. Besides, if the sensor has welding or cutting marks, the sensor will not be covered by the warranty, please note to the customer.
